By playing ClueLink you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are short.

The game

ClueLink is free to play. We provide it “as is” and may change, pause or end features, puzzles or leaderboards at any time. We cannot promise that the game will always be available or free of errors.

Nicknames and behaviour

• Choose a nickname that is not offensive, hateful or misleading, and do not pretend to be someone else.
• Do not use your real name or other personal details as a nickname.
• We may change or remove nicknames, scores and online rooms that break these rules.

Fair play

Play fairly. Do not cheat, use bots or scripts, send fake results, overload our servers or try to get around their limits. We may remove scores and block players who do.

Your progress

Your progress is kept in your browser and, with a nickname, on our server. Clearing your browser data deletes the local copy. Keep your progress code private: anyone who has it can play as you.

Content

The game, its puzzles, design and texts belong to ClueLink. Puzzles you create in the editor are yours; they stay in your browser unless you export and share them.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress or scores, or for any damage arising from using the game. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
